The Nintendo Wii has reached its 2nd birthday! (Well, based on the USA release anyway!) The whole first year on release, plus some of this second year, have seen major stock problems; a mix of immense popularity and lower than expected shipments arriving to the UK have been the culprits. When you could get hold of one it was at a higher than RRP price usually, were pleased that this is not the case anymore. We have up to 30 merchants with plenty of stock available all of the time at a very competitive price.

The console comes with a free copy of Wii Sports, ironically its one of the best games around! Its simple multiplayer mini-games give lots of re-play value and its especially fun for families or if you have your friends round! As the title suggests the game is made up of lots of different sports, Tennis, Boxing, Golf, Baseball, Ten-Pin Bowling and many more, each of which uses the Wii remote in new and clever ways.

As well as the console, you get 1 wireless Wii Remote and 1 Nun chuck - these are the controllers you use to play games in the Wii. A second set of these are available to buy from all of the merchants on this site too, they usually cost ~£40. The controls provide a revolutionary way to play games of all kinds; from mimicking you playing the drums, to swinging a golf ball, there is literally nothing you can’t do with them.

Nintendo Wii

It’s absolutely great and well worth buying! I have four children and believe me it keeps them entertained. One of the huge benefits is that we can play as a family from my teenager to my 3 year old. The games available suit every one of different ages which is also a bonus. The Wii itself is easy to use and because you can get all the added extras i.e. controllers, wheels for racing games, dance mats to Wii Fit, the fun never stops. I would definitely recommend the Nintendo Wii as its one of the best things I have brought. - By Claire Stevens

Pure Genius!
The Nintendo Wii is brilliant and don’t be fooled by the fact it’s a console, its fun for all the family, lots of games that please everyone. I recommend using one if you have a party, great to break the ice and great for that competitive spirit; don’t regret buying mine, one little bit. Pure genius and unadulterated fun. - By Mark Shergold

I'm amazed; the Wii has so many features it’s hard to know where to start! As well as being able to download old games, to playing old GameCube games, to the fantastic range of games that are currently available, its hours of entertainment, get you up and moving about and a great way to bring the family together with hours of comedy moments. It’s a great all round console working your BODY and your mind while being thoroughly entertaining - a must have for everyone! - By Kim Edwards
